Reading Habits book tag

Hey everybody! This week I have decided to do a book tag of my reading habits. We all have some habits that we are not proud of but we all have habits that make us unique. In this post I will be sharing some of my habits! (please don't judge)

1. Do you have a certain place in your home for reading?
I do, my bed. I tend to read sitting, hunched over in bed. It's terrible for my posture but amazing for my comfiness.

2. Bookmark or random piece of paper?
Not my proudest moment but I used to fold the corners. I do not anymore, now I use a sticky note.

3. Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter or a certain amount of pages?
I like to stop after a couple chapters but sometimes, the chapters are too long and I end up having to stop. It's unfortunate, but such as life.

4. Do you eat or drink while reading?
I do, all the time. Around easter, I ate Jelly Beans and read for hours at a time. And tea, that goes amazing with book.

5. Multitasking: Music or TV while reading?
I find that if I watch TV and try to read at the same time, I get distracted the book doesn't get read. If I listen to music, I sing along instead of reading. Too many words coming at me. I listen classical music when I read.

6. One book, or several at once?
At one point in my life, I would have been reading three or four books at once. Now I can't. I tend to stick to one book and perhaps an audio book as well. Even then, I get their plots confused.

7. Reading at home or everywhere?
I like to read at home the best but I keep a book with me when I can for those times when social situations are boring. I always have book on my phone just in case though.

8. Reading out loud or silently in your head?
I despise reading aloud. I mix up my words and the plot more confusing. Now, I just read silently.  It's for the best.

9. Do you read ahead or even skip pages?
I'm so guilty for this. I don't skip pages but when a plot is thick, I can't help but skip a couple sentences. Then I have to back track because something important. I should really stop doing it.

10. Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?
It kind of upsets me when the spine is broken on paperback books because the book doesn't look as nice but when it comes to hardcover I could care less. (though, all my paperback spines are broken)

11.  Do you write in your books?
      Sticky notes!

I hope you enjoyed this little post!

Until next time
