1. Finding money in your purse, your jacket, or your couch cushions, and that money is just enough to buy the book you've been eyeballing through the bookstore's window
2. Buying a book that has such a pretty cover that you just want to take a bunch of pictures of it
3. Payday! More books!
4. When a bookish candle actually has a nice scent
5. Finding a colouring book for you're new favourite book
6. When the colours of all the books in a series compliment each other
7. When an author found a different way to portray her book cover other than with an actual human being
8. then if the author does use a human being, it's not creepy (unless it's supposed to be)
9. fancy lettering for the title on the spine of the book
10. when a spine doesn't creak when the book is opened
11. having pretty pages at the beginning of every chapter
12. When you take off the book jacket and the cover underneath also is pretty
13. little decals on the edges of the pages in the book
14. seeing a quote, phrase or symbol from one of the books you read and being able to understand where it's from
15. when your local library gets a new order of books and you get to be the first one to bring it home

17. getting ahead in your reading challenge
18. when the author's name is easy to pronounce
19. the opposite of #16, adding to your TBR list. That means you bought more books which is always a glorious day
20. Hogwarts scarves
21. when your favourite book is getting made into a movie (Selection by Kiera Cass please!)
22. going to the place where a book is set
23. re-reading a children's book and picking up on the not-so-subtle jokes
24. when someone cancels plans that you didn't want to go to so you have more time to read
25. finding time to read in a busy week
26. I'm not sure if anybody else writes, but I do, and I get so happy when I a new idea for my story pops into my head
27. finding a really well written stand alone book
28. novellas that give backstory on characters that we don't know much about
29. when you read the first two chapters of a really well written book and just know that it will become one of your favourite books (this was Caraval for me, if you've read it you should go check out my review!)
30. Finishing an amazing book and finding out that it is only one in a long series
